What steps are you taking for your quality of life?

World Mental Health Day is a UN-recognized day held annually on October 10. In Norway, it is marked as a national awareness campaign, running from weeks 39 to 42 each year. At Omega 365, we aim to raise awareness of this important topic by sharing stories and information to highlight its significance.

The Norwegian Institute of Public Health has identified five measures that promote quality of life and health at all ages and life situations.

The five steps are

  1. be attentive (present)
  2. be physically active
  3. keep learning
  4. connect with others
  5. give and contribute to others

You can read more about these five measures on the Norwegian Institute of Public Health’s website (only in Norwegian).

Would you like to share what you do to improve your quality of life and mental health

Do you exercise or stay physically active in other ways throughout the day? Do you have creative ways to connect with family and friends? Do you volunteer or give to charity? Are you learning a new skill? Do you meditate to be more focused and mentally present, or engage in other activities that enhance your well-being?

If you're interested in sharing your experiences with the rest of the Omega 365 team and our readers, please feel free to reach out to Communications Advisor Inga Klokkerstuen Wangensteen via Teams or at inga.wangensteen@omega365.com.
