Content items: The backbone of Omega 365 Content Management

Content items can be organized in manuals, such as user guides, employee guidelines company policies etc, they can be used in web sites and blogs.

A content item is the backbone of the new content management functionality in Omega 365. This blog is all content items. The user guides for Omega 365 and Pims R4 are content items. The public www.omega365.com website and many other web sites are mainly based on content items.

Content Manuals is one of the ways that one can organize the content. docs.omega365.com is organized using manuals. A manual consists of one or more content items.

A manual can be published to organization structures and be made available to the public without any login.

The content items will eventually also be used as basis for the presentations and course apps in Omega 365.

Naturally some content items are tailored for a specific format. However, this allows us to re-use content items in various ways, as part of courses, documents, presentations, in blogs and on the web.
