Discussed growth in Grannar newspaper

Omega AS was recently featured in Grannar, the local newspaper for Etne and Vindafjord. Our CEO, Petter Aalvik, discussed the company's financial results for 2023 and the planned expansion of our headquarters in Ølensvåg.

“In Norway, we have won contracts competing with major global contenders on individual bids. When our products are judged to be this good, we see global opportunities. However, this also requires us to invest in technology development, logistics, distribution, sales, and marketing,” Petter explained.

At the same time, Omega HQ is filling up fast, prompting plans for an expansion in Ølensvåg. During the interview, Petter shared the plans for the proposed new building, which will be located on the waterfront below the Medvind building. With the plan to cover a base area of about 400 square meters and include four floors, it will ideally house offices, meeting rooms, and course rooms. The plans will soon undergo review by the Municipality of Vindafjord and the Omega 365 Board, and if all goes well, construction could start in the Norwegian autumn.
