Team Event Details

The capital of Scotland makes a great first impression. Edinburgh Castle looms over the city where it is built on an old volcano. Edinburgh is, like Rome, built on seven heights, and holds striking evidence of a colorful history. And Edinburgh offers more than just unique architectural landscapes – this is a city rich in museums, pubs and not least culture.

The city is the size of Oslo, a small and incredibly cozy city center that is easy to get to. The oldest part of the city, with the Grassmarket and the Royal Mile extending from the fortress to Holyrood Palace is full of small shops and cafes that serves scones with clotted cream and tea. Edinburgh is guaranteed to be a city you will return to!

We will arrive in Edinburgh around twelve o'clock on Friday. We will make a stop by the hotel to unload our luggage before going to the restaurant for lunch. After the lunch we will go on a guided walk in the center of Edinburgh, including a trip to the castle. We end the tour at the hotel where we can relax before we meet again for dinner in the evening.

On Saturday you have two activity options. You can either sign up for a bike ride or for the Scotch Whiskey Experience. The bike ride lasts about two hours and starts at 10.00 am Saturday. We cycle out to the sea side and get to experience a different part of Edinburgh. The whiskey tasting will be on Saturday afternoon and you can expect a taste of good whiskey and great storytelling. Both activities require pre-registration!

Our stay in Edinburgh will be concluded with dinner together on Saturday evening before we leave Edinburgh early Sunday after a good night's sleep.
