“We provide the technical solution for Content Management and Academy, handling all content published in various formats. A significant part of our work involves technical solutions for public-facing materials, including content published on websites, infoscreens, and blogs,” says Fredriksen.
In Content Management, manuals are compiled for documentation and online courses. The Academy learning platform serves as a central portal, bringing together information on products, courses, documentation, and blog posts. It is widely used as an educational resource for customers, particularly through sessions and e-learning courses.
“We don’t work directly with specific customers and projects, but our products are continuously used by all customers. Our main focus is to ensure stability and daily operations, with an emphasis on intuitive solutions, user-friendliness, and a well-designed user interface,” she says.
Fredriksen first joined Omega 365 in 2002, contributing to multiple client projects with a focus on system development and project support. In 2007, she founded her own company before returning to Omega 365 as an employee in 2018. She later took on a new role within the company in 2022. Looking back, she reflects on a career shaped by growth and development.
“At the beginning of Omega’s journey, there weren’t many of us. I worked on internal applications such as travel expenses and time registration, as well as website management and Appframe development. It was a completely different technological landscape back then,” she recalls.
Upon her return in 2018, Fredriksen worked with Pims, a flexible project management solution tailored to meet specific customer requirements for optimal project performance. During this time, she collaborated with OMV Group and commuted to Austria before the pandemic.
“Among other things, we developed a visualization tool for monitoring the health of their projects.”
Last year, Fredriksen transitioned to Omega 365 Core, which supports Omega 365 companies globally by driving software development, standardizing processes, and providing expertise in key operational areas. She now focuses on products used for training and documentation.
“Throughout my time at Omega, I have enjoyed both the work and the people, which makes all the difference,” she concludes.
