Grid layouts
Introduction
Each grid comes with a out-of-the-box standard configuration. Each client can define their default. Note that there can only be one default layout per grid. In other words one cannot have different layouts per org unit.
In the "Column Layout" section one can change the layout of the grid, choose among predefined layouts and manage layouts.
Changing the column layout
Users can select which columns to view, and change the order of them by dragging the column to the desired location.
To pin a column, right click on the column header in the grid and select "Pin column" (left, right, remove)
Saved Layouts
In the "Layouts" tab page, one can choose to use layouts that one has access to. Do this by selecting the layout in the list, or by using the drop down in the "Column Layout" header.
If the column layout is changed (e.g. by hiding columns or changing the order), icons for saving the layout, or cancelling the changes will appear:
For other options, click on the "..." to the right of the layout:
- Rename: Rename the layout and/or update the description
- Share: This will create a copy of the layout, and share it to the selected org unit. One can also set the layout as the default for all users.
- Share: with persons: The selected layout will be shared to a selection of persons.
Creating a new layout
You can create a new layouts in two ways
- Do the desired changes in the column layout , then click "Save As" to give it a name.
- Click on "New Layout", give it a name, do the desired changes, and save the layout
Reset Layout
Resetting the layout means that the standard product layout is activated. To reset the layout, click on the button "Reset to Layout".
