Omega 365 Software team visits Australia

As adoption of the Omega 365 platform continues to grow, representatives from Omega 365 Software in Norway recently visited the team in Australia to work closely with customers, strengthen implementations, and help streamline project processes.

The visit reinforced collaboration between Omega 365 teams in Norway and Australia by sharing experience and best practices.

During their time in Perth, the team met with several key clients, including Perth Airport and Fortescue, gaining valuable insight into how Omega 365 is being used across large-scale projects. They also took the opportunity to demonstrate further workflow optimization and consolidate functionality previously handled in separate systems.

Across these organizations, the platform supports a range of complex engineering and infrastructure projects. The Omega 365 system is used to strengthen areas such as Contract Management, Document Management, Procurement, and Cost Management, while also enabling exploration of broader capabilities like materials management and structured workflows.

Australian customers expressed continued interest in improving coordination across project phases and enhancing integration between functions. These discussions also highlighted a focus on increasing efficiency, maintaining consistency in processes, and supporting more informed decision-making through better use of data.

Driving value through implementation and workflows

A key focus of the visit was helping customers understand the greater value of Omega 365 by bringing together project management, document control, cost management, and workflows in a single platform. By improving processes and reducing reliance on legacy systems, customers can achieve better data quality, traceability, and overall control.

“It was very valuable to meet customers face-to-face and see how they are using Omega 365 in their projects,” says Sander Pedersen, System Developer. “We gain direct insight into how the platform supports project execution, and where we can further improve efficiency and usability.”

Through workshops and discussions, the team worked hands-on with customers to clarify requirements, align processes and ensure that existing workflows can be effectively managed within Omega 365.

“We are working closely with customers to move processes from older systems into Omega 365,” Pedersen explains. “This reduces complexity and creates a more integrated and scalable way of working,”

Strengthening collaboration across teams

The visit also reinforced collaboration between Omega 365 teams in Norway and Australia. By sharing experience and best practices, the teams continue to ensure consistent delivery and further development of the platform based on real customer needs.

“We spent time exchanging knowledge with colleagues in Perth, which is key to delivering high-quality solutions globally,” says Pedersen.

In parallel, Omega 365 Software CFO Linda Andersen Matre and her colleagues met with Omega 365 Australia General Manager Emma Ireland and Financial Manager Sara Eaton to align financial processes and strengthen cooperation between the offices.

“We have had a very good week here in Perth,” says Matre. “It has been valuable to meet both customers and colleagues, and to see how Omega 365 supports project execution in practice.”
