Omega 365 expands ISO certification to the UK and France
Omega 365 UK and Omega 365 France are now included in Omega 365’s ISO certification scope, with certification to ISO 9001 for quality management and ISO/IEC 27001 for information security.
Based in Newcastle and Pau, the two offices support customers with Omega 365 software, implementation and project expertise. The UK team delivers and implements Omega 365 solutions across energy, marine, healthcare and the public sector, while the France team provides software development, technical and functional support, training and consulting, particularly within energy and construction.
Together, the offices strengthen Omega 365's international presence while giving customers access to established quality and information security management systems.
“Omega 365 France was already working in line with the procedures established by Omega 365 in Norway. Formal certification to ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 27001 now gives the Pau office a recognized, robust foundation that will directly strengthen its bidding process, allowing it to demonstrate proven quality and information security practices to clients from the outset,” says Jean-François Caron, General Manager at Omega 365 France.
The certification also strengthens the UK office's position as it continues to build its presence in the market, providing customers with independently verified quality and information security practices.
“ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 27001 are often a baseline expectation in UK tenders and client due diligence, particularly for public sector and enterprise contracts. This should help streamline our clients' onboarding process with Omega 365,” says Liam Heywood, General Manager at Omega 365 UK.
“It supports the UK office’s growth ambitions by giving us the same credibility as more established Omega 365 companies in Norway, the US and elsewhere,” Liam says.
The UK and France were included in this year's ISO audit, carried out in September by Kiwa, an independent certification body. The audit found no nonconformities, and Kiwa recommended maintaining certification across the audited companies and standards.

Kiwa also recommended maintaining certification for both Omega 365 Consulting and Omega 365 Protek across all audited standards.
Extending ISO certification across Omega 365
With the addition of the UK and France, ISO 9001 now covers Omega 365 companies in Norway, the UK, France, Denmark, Lithuania, the US and Canada, including Omega 365 Core, Omega 365 Design, Omega 365 Consulting and Omega 365 Protek.
The same companies, together with Omega AS, are also certified to ISO/IEC 27001. Omega 365 Core also holds ISO/IEC 27017 certification, providing additional guidance on information security for cloud services. Several Omega 365 companies also hold ISO 14001 for environmental management and ISO 45001 for occupational health and safety management.
Omega 365 Consulting and Omega 365 Protek were also included in this year’s audit. Kiwa identified one area for improvement for Consulting and issued a small number of recommendations for Protek. No nonconformities were reported for either company.
“ISO certification is a quality mark that more and more of our customers require us to have. We are very pleased with this year's certification, which shows that we are working in the right way and have our processes and organization in order. We also received positive feedback on our systems and way of working. A big thank you to the QA team at Omega for doing a great job for us,” says Leon Dyngeland, General Manager at Omega 365 Consulting.
