Omega 365 Australia team visits Norway

Their journey began in Stavanger, where they met with CEO Petter Aalvik to discuss future global strategies and meet the local team members, including their new exchange developers who will soon travel to Australia. On 30 April, the journey continued to the office in Haugesund to catch up with Department Manager Vidar Nordnes and his team. During their visit, they had the opportunity to learn about their most recent projects, such as the collaboration with Westcon.
On 2 May, they visited the headquarters in Ølensvåg to focus on updates about Omega 365, Pims, the recent ISO certification, finance and audit matters, and succession planning. They also discussed global opportunities with Omega 365 Consulting. In Stavanger, Ølensvåg, and Bergen, Julie Goodwin met with other consulting managers who took the time to showcase how they work and their operations, which was greatly appreciated.
During their time in Norway, the team had the opportunity to experience the country’s beautiful landscapes, including husky hiking with Folgefonna Husky Camp. They also enjoyed sauna sessions, outdoor swimming, and canoeing, thanks to the organization by Communication Manager Lauren McPherson Simonsen, with help from Frilager, a volunteer organization that offers loans of all necessary equipment for outdoor activities. Additionally, Lauren, along with Astrid Eidhammer Hjelmeland, General Manager at Omega 365 Design, showcased updates to merchandise and design for Omega 365.
The visit concluded in Bergen after a week filled with productive meetings, cultural exploration, and outdoor activities. In Bergen, they met with the team at Omega Subsea, explored the synergies between global offices, and viewed the PES/Pims R5 demo.
