The workshop was part of the continued collaboration between Omega 365 and Waha Oil, following last year’s contract to implement Document Management for the Tripoli-based oil company as part of the North Gialo 6J Area Development project. Representatives from Waha Oil met with team members from Omega 365 Solutions’ offices in Oslo and Newcastle to further develop the company’s use of the Omega 365 system. The project now includes several products in Omega 365, such as Completion Management, Risk Management, and Contract Management, in addition to tools for Interface Requests, Technical Queries, and Meetings. The initiative aims to increase production by 100,000 barrels per day and includes a new central processing facility, extensive pipeline networks, a high-capacity solar plant, and personnel housing—forming a key part of the project’s infrastructure.

The main objective of the workshop was to develop a technical query aligned with the customer’s procedures using Activities and Workflows.

“We made significant progress and look forward to our next workshop. While digital collaboration is effective, meeting in person often elevates our teamwork and helps us solve challenges more efficiently—that’s a great advantage,” says Selvakumaran.
